Emily is a photographer and technology strategist who has spent years moving through the world with a camera. She began her career in hotel management before joining Google Travel, where she worked with hospitality brands across global markets on how they show up in the next generation of search.

Originally based in New York, Emily now travels slowly. Staying longer, looking closer, and documenting the specific culture and character of the places she moves through. She founded Casa Kala because she kept seeing the same gap: extraordinary people, places, and properties invisible to the travelers who would love them most.
